Dr. Koepper (previously Panora) is a licensed psychologist in Florida and an expert in pediatric neuropsychology. She achieved board certification in clinical neuropsychology and board certified subspeciality in pediatric neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology immediately following completion of fellowship. Board certification status is the highest level of competence in the field of neuropsychology.

Dr. Koepper has practiced in Florida for nearly 10 years. She is the only board-certified subspecialist in pediatric neuropsychology in Martin County. Dr. Koepper is one of only two board certified subspecialists in pediatric neuropsychology in the surrounding 100 miles.

Dr. Koepper received formal training in neuropsychology at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, The Watson Institute, Allegheny General Hospital, and Florida Hospital for Children. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology, an APA-accredited program in Arlington, Virginia.

Dr. Koepper specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Koepper has worked in schools, academic medical hospitals, rehabilitation programs, outpatient clinics, private practices, and, as an ABA interventionalist in family homes. Dr. Koepper opened FNS following her passion for neuropsychological evaluation in a private practice setting. This venture has allowed her a personalized yet comprehensive approach to child and family assessment.

Dr. Koepper is a Certified Autism Specialist and an ADHD-Certified Educator. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Koepper has worked in schools, academic medical hospitals, rehabilitation programs, outpatient clinics, private practices, and, as an ABA interventionalist in family homes. Dr. Koepper opened FNS following her passion for neuropsychological evaluation in a private practice setting. This venture has allowed her a personalized yet comprehensive approach to child and family assessment.

Dr. Koepper enjoys collaborating with families, teachers, tutors, and clinicians, to determine an individual’s strengths and struggles. Her extensive clinical knowledge in combination with her conservative and compassionate approach has made her well renowned on the Treasure Coast and beyond. Dr. Koepper’s expertise has been sought by families both nationally and internationally.

In her free time, Dr. Koepper enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and being on the water. She is also working on a book about providing neuropsychological feedback to children and teens.

Lea S. McCarthy, MA
Psychometrist

Lea joins FNS as a Psychometrist with over 15 years of training and experience in academic testing, support, and tutoring. Lea is certified by the state of Florida as an Exceptional Student Educator (ESE) for grades K-12, with an added Gifted Endorsement. Lea spent nearly 10 years as a Learning Specialist in Florida elementary schools where she managed academic tests and screenings, evaluated student data, collaborated with teachers, and conducted small-group instruction.

After completing her Bachelor’s in Psychology, Lea earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from New York University. She is also a certified Wilson ® Dyslexia Practitioner and has worked extensively with students who possess language-based learning disabilities.

As both a learning specialist and a mother, Lea offers her distinctive and
comprehensive experiences to her role at FNS. She has experienced the familial and clinical sides of the evaluation process and can guide families and students through the neuropsychological assessment. Lea’s empathy combined with her depth of educational expertise positions her as an invaluable collaborator and mentor for FNS and its patients.
